Short Reviews

The Fate of the Furious

F8 is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game, and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom back into a world of crime that he can’t seem to escape, the crew will face trials that will test them as never before.

While the plot is mediocre, F8 is a great, entertaining, action packed popcorn movie with a bit of humour. A worthy sequel, fans of The Fast and Furious films will not be disappointed.

Nicely directed by Lone Scherfig. Their Finest is a pleasant film with fine acting and good story.

The true story of Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), an interracial couple, are sentenced to prison in Virginia in 1958 for getting married.

A fine film by director Jeff Nichols. Beautiful performances by Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga. Edgerton and Negga work well together and share great chemistry. Wonderfully made and sincere, Loving will melt your heart.
